Brian T. Metzger is the President of Business Development at Crown Wealth Strategies and works to scale our unique business model providing world-class wealth strategies and estate planning to our clients on a highly customized basis. An award-winning financial services executive and former Partner at New York Life’s El Paso General Office, Brian brings to Crown Wealth Strategies a singular combination of credentialed financial expertise and proven management experience.

Brian Metzger’s credentials span financial services and management responsibilities. He holds securities FINRA Series 6, 63, 7, 66, and 24 Licenses as well as his Life and Health licenses. Brian Metzger built his reputation as a leading expert in El Paso as a Partner at New York Life’s El Paso General Office where he has been recognized as “Partner of the Year” for the last five consecutive years within the El Paso New York Life General Office.

Brian has been married to Lizzie Dipp Metzger for 18 years and has three children. He is an avid athlete that loves to compete in biking and running events. Brian is originally from Brighton, IL, but has called El Paso his home for the last 17 years.

Berthy is a Bilingual and Bi-cultural Financial Services Professional. Her main focus is working with business owners, physicians and families with special needs in retirement planning, insurance, and investment, all while providing expert guidance to help them achieve lifelong financial well-being.

She earned a BA in Tourism Administration at the Insituto Superior de Turismo in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1988. That same year she migrated to the United States. She entered the professional world in 2000 after being a full-time mom for twelve years. Later, she became a Senior Media Consultant for Time Warner in El Paso and then a Business Consultant for the international marketing company Hibu. At Hibu, Berthy became part of the USH elite team of professionals, whose aim was to understand and reduce the advertising and digital divide that separates Hispanic-owned businesses from more advanced US enterprises. Her favorite special interest is serving as a volunteer talking to young parents, special needs families, and business owners about her experiences as an immigrant to the United States, and about her struggles to advance and succeed, despite the language barrier.

She serves as a volunteer for different organizations; however, she is noted for her identification with and passion for AVANCE’s mission when she became a member of the board in 2004. She also served as Secretary National Board of Directors and chaired the Programs Committee from 2010 to 2014.

Berthy finds her biggest inspiration to succeed are her four daughters, Nora, Anna, Ivonne, Clarissa and her granddaughter Frida Anabella.

Javier is a Financial Advisor, focused on working with small business owners, professionals, and families to ensure they can meet all their financial goals. Javier has a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance as well as an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso. Starting his career in the accounting department for his family’s local business, Javier was inspired to become a resource for local business owners in assisting them with their financial health. Later transitioning to the world of finance, Javier holds his FINRA Series 7, 66, and 63 Licenses as well as his Life and Health Licenses. He is now excited to use these tools to help make an impact on his community.

Being in business for himself since 2008, Andrew knows firsthand the many challenges and opportunities that business owners face. Through working with business owners and high-income earners, Andrew has found that clients, before they met us had their money and other assets going in lots of different directions. Sometimes doing well individually, but not work to the client's fullest potential and almost never being driven by what the clients are trying to achieve. In his role as a personal CFO, he starts by getting clear on what matters most to our clients and why it's important. Only then can we implement a sound strategy that stands the test of time.

Andrew Snyder holds the series 6,63, 65, and 7 licenses. He also has his life/health license. Andrew is currently pursuing additional education and training with coursework in the estate and retirement planning fields.

Andrew currently resides in Tuscaloosa Alabama with his wife Kaysi, and their three boys, Will, Cooper and Casyn. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golf, and coaching little league baseball.

As a financial advisor, Kris understands that working with people is a lifelong journey. By defining goals and creating a detailed action plan, he creates a harmonious partnership with clients that withstands all life’s curveballs. Whether he’s working with a business owner, c-level executive, or a family, Kris uses a client-centric approach to help each one facilitate their own financial success, keeping their values at the center of the planning process and philosophy.

Kris has a background in finance through the Penn State Behrend School of Finance and has always enjoyed the continual quest for information. He started his financial career in 2011 and has since has earned his FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 Licenses. He is currently furthering his education through Penn State while also pursuing additional certifications.

Kris lives in the Tualatin Valley area with his wife Shelby and son Easton. Kris and Shelby met while both working at New York Life and married in 2016. As a family, they enjoy spending time in their backyard working on projects and teaching their son a hands-on approach to life. (Easton is currently learning glamourous life skills like pulling weeds and cleaning up after their dogs.) Recently, Kris started building a high-horsepower classic car in his free time. In the past, he’s also been very active in sports and exercise, and in 2009, he competed in the Baja 500 on a dirt bike team. Now, Kris and his wife look forward to sharing their passion for an active lifestyle with their son.

Paulette Acosta-Hayen joined Crown Wealth Strategies in 2011. Paulette manages Client Services and is the primary point of contact for Crown Wealth Strategies clients for all administrative and operational needs, including account openings.

Prior to joining Crown Wealth Strategies, Paulette worked in Special Projects Accounting and Accounts Payable. Paulette has over five years of experience in the financial services industry. Being a Licensed Service Assistant, Paulette has passed her Group 1 and obtained her Texas Insurance License.

Paulette was born and raised in El Paso where she is actively involved in the community. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a B.B.A. in Accounting.

Viviana M. Hernandez joined Crown Wealth Strategies in 2019. Viviana manages the day-to-day operations for the firm and provides the staff and advisors with the necessary support to reach the firm’s objectives and maintain strong client relationships.

Prior to joining Crown Wealth Strategies, Viviana worked for over 6 years in the healthcare field as a Marketing Representative and Admissions Director. In 2012 Viviana left healthcare to successfully run her own financial planning practice for over 7 years. With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Viviana is a Registered Service Assistant and holds her Group 1, Series 6, Series 63, and Property & Casualty licenses. Viviana was born and raised in El Paso where she continues to reside with her high school sweetheart and husband, Matthew. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a B.B.A. with a double major in Marketing and International Business.

Mrs. Loya originates from Ciudad. Juarez, Chihuahua, MX. She holds a B.A. in Visual Arts with a Major in Painting, photography and sculpture from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez.

Cynthia ensures that company’s financial records are maintained in compliance with company’s policies. She’s responsible for reviewing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, as well as other documents to ensure this compliance.

Christine joined Crown Wealth Strategies in 2021 and works directly with clients to help answer questions and provide account information. As a Licensed Service Assistant, she has passed her Group 1 exam for Life, Accident, and Health Insurance and holds her Texas Insurance License. Prior to joining Crown Wealth Strategies, Christine worked in both the insurance and financial management fields.

Christine was born and raised just outside of Seattle, Washington, and she graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and a minor in creative writing. She lived in Virginia before moving to Texas in 2021.
